Rooting

Caution: unlocking the bootloader and installing SuperUser replaces system recovery state.

Unlock bootloader

Boot in the FastBoot menu and run the unlock command.

• Booting will show an unlocked padlock.
• In the FastBoot menu, lock status will be Unlocked.

Install SuperUser

In the FastBoot menu, place the zip on the SDCard, then install the zip from recovery mode.
